CORE OWNERSHIP TEAM
The Family Behind Big John's
Our family has been farming since 1956, when Case and Grace DeBoer purchased 40 acres in Chicago Heights. Today, the tradition continues with multiple generations working together to serve you.
Current Leadership:
- Sandy (Iperlaan) - Third generation, co-owner
- Kevin & Lori (DeBoer) - Fourth generation, co-owners
- Eric & Jenn (Yukon) - Fourth generation, co-owners
Behind-the-Scenes Operations:
- Sam (DeBoer) - farm operations and watering systems specialist
Together, our ownership team oversees every aspect of the business—from planting the first seeds in January to closing out the fall season in October.

Greenhouse Team (Spring & Early Summer)
When you visit our greenhouse, you'll find knowledgeable staff ready to help:

Farm Market Team (Summer & Fall)
Our market staff can assist with:

During pumpkin patch season, you'll encounter our friendly yard staff who:
